Client: Continental - Electronic Contol Unit for lights and brakes installed on trailer.
Responsible for implementing customer's requirements in the ECU's firmware.
  • Implement features in the firmware based on requirements.
  • Fix issues in the firmware that testing team or customer reported.
  • Code unit tests for different software modules.
  • Run tests on the laboratory to verify the ECU's firmware works according to requirements.
  • Review code of other team members to detect potential errors or ways to improve their code.

JULY 2021 - Present

Responsible for testing and programming software for the i.MX microprocessor.
  • Wrote bitbake recipes for yocto's custom projects.
  • Wrote test scripts in C language to test the performance of the SDMA (Smart Direct Memory Access) peripheral of the i.MX6 microprocessor.
  • Wrote status reports and user guides in English and Spanish for customers who requierd the instructions to setup a project or test tool we had developed.
  • Gave technical support for customer to debug u-boot or Linux kernel issues on the i.MX6, i.MX7 and i.MX8 microprocessors.
  • Wrote test scripts in bash and C to test the I2C communication and peripherals for the electronic system of an e-bike.

  • Trained 24 engineer students to use a CNC lathe and end mill machines.
